In process of developing the ADAS camera, we met a lot of problems with choosing the image sensor. It should be AEC Qualified that includes wide operation temperature range, vibration resistance, high MTBF, and long experience in this field from a manufacturer. On another hand, end-users require high-quality pictures and resolution must be not worse than Full HD. We choose the Onsemi products because they have an assortment of suitable solutions and good technical support, below I share models that we checked for our project:
