Neutrik’s XLR connectors have been designed to be both easy to assemble and use and are available with a wide variety of contact layouts. The company has made some new additions to the XLR series including the EMC series which is a 3-pole female or male cable connector with an integrated capacitive shield to shell connection to avoid RF interference and LF noise. A 360⁰ shield contact on the female connector ensures perfect shielding and chassis contact.
The XLR XX and DLX series both feature a new female cage type contact on the 3 pole versions. According to Neutrik, this increases conductivity with the male connector and gives a more robust latch on the female cable connector which guaranties ground to the chassis.
The SpeakON lockable loudspeaker connectors are 2, 4 and 8 pole connectors designed to operate in high current, inductive load environment of loudspeakers. Neutrik’s powerCON is a locking three conductor AC connector with contacts for line, neutral and pre-mating ground contact.
